Niomi Shah

Hi! My name is Niomi. I happen to be a full time biochemistry student at UoE and a part time lover of all things linguistic. Having always enjoyed poetry, one of my favourite things to do is marry emotions and science in my poetry. While Biology is something I love passionately, I also enjoy thinking about the mirroring of biological phenomena into anthropological contexts. My poetry often reflects these ideas. Other than this, I enjoy learning new languages with etymologies. I also keenly enjoy sports such as badminton. Mostly because all things in life deserve balance, I am also a huge foodie and love cooking as well as trying exotic foods from various cuisines.
