Hannah Nicholson

I am a physics graduate interested in night, long exposure and light-painting photography. I love to capture the sky and manipulate light in ways that capture your eye that cannot be seen in real-time. I constantly think of unique angles to capture in daily life, especially when the sun has gone down. Additionally, during the day I work for a start-up company, named Dyneval, in the research and development team, helping to improve current technology that helps minimise the decline in fertility worldwide.

My unique angle of physics helps me to understand the mechanisms behind photo capturing, from the way the sensor captures light to manipulating it before it gets to the camera. I try to utilise this knowledge to enhance my artistic creativity.
