Cian Donovan
Scientist
Cian began working in robotics at 15 while still in secondary school, working summers as a research assistant in Trinity College's Robotics and Innovation Lab. He'd later go on, along with some of his colleagues, to co-found Akara Robotics, a start-up that leverages robots and IoT to improve hospital efficiency and patient safety. He's also passionate about education, and taught the first cohort of Trinity's Walton Club students, as well as more recently designing and running an outreach program for 4th class primary school students in Dublin 8, teaching them how to build and program autonomous cars.
